Episode 26 - One Woman, One Vote

Just a few quick notes on this one -

Am I shining it on a little bit that it was headed toward failure? Sure. The next few states to take up the ratification were in New England, so it may have been likely to pass. But Tennessee gets to forever claim it.

This episode glosses over the work of suffragettes in making this vote happen. I'm not trying to downplay their work in light of Mr. Burn having a tough morning and making the right call. It was the work of dedicated women that made this happen, and don't think otherwise. It was on a monument to them in Nashville where I learned this story.
