Episode 28 - Founding Father, Deadbeat Dad?, Part I

When you read about William Franklin, it's kind of hard to make him out to be an enemy. He really did do what he believed was right, and all in the face of a growing rebellion around him. And it really may not warrant his harsh treatment, but I'm getting ahead of myself. The more you read about the Revolutionary era, the more you get a sense that there were so many more moving parts to this thing and the sentiment on both sides of the equation - everybody had a point, and that was the problem. Except for King George. Screw that guy.
